Have you ever wished your drawings could just jump off the page? Well now they practically can with Cryoow-doll. Cryoow (short for CReate YOur OWn) dolls came about when the owners’ daughter, Nora, drew a picture and asked if her parents’ tailors could make a doll for her from it. She said that hugging a piece of paper was no fun. Who wants to hug a piece of paper?!?! And that’s how Cryoow was born! Based in Bali, each doll is custom made based on the drawing that each customer sends in. You will never find another doll like yours! How cool is that?
My daughters were given the unique opportunity to create their own Cryoow dolls. When I told them that they would be creating their own dolls they didn’t believe me at first. I explained to them that they needed to draw and color a picture that was at least 4 inches tall. The parts of the picture had to be big enough so that they could be made into a doll so I reminded my girls not to draw just a line for the limbs for example. They both worked hard and came up with adorable pictures. I then scanned the pictures and e-mailed them to Cryoow. After about 2 weeks I received an e-mail that their dolls were finished and were being shipped. I was amazing how fast they finished the dolls. Cryoow is located in Bali so I took the opportunity to have girls look up where Bali is on a map. The dolls are shipped via DHL so I opted to receive e-mail updates on our package from DHL. When I received e-mails telling us where the package was, my girls went right to the map to check it out. After our package left Bali it made a stop in Hong Kong. It was so much fun for my girls to follow our package’s journey. They were amazed that it was in Bali one day, Hong Kong the next, and delivered the following day. Their dolls are world travelers!
My girls couldn’t wait to tear into the package. The dolls were each in their own beautiful drawstring organza bag, wrapped in tissue paper, and included a rubber Cryoow bracelet, too.
And here is the big reveal:
The final products are amazing. Cryoow duplicated all the details in my girls’ dolls down to the two tone heart on the dress and even the belly button the mermaid. How cute! There is such attention to detail and amazing craftsmanship. The hair on the doll was sewn onto her head in small bunches of about 6-10 strands. I am sure it was very time consuming.
You can see how well the labels on the dolls are stitched.
One tip when creating a Cryoow doll- if you want the hair to be regular strands of hair instead of hair made from fabric, draw the hair going down and not in a flip hairstyle. You can also make notes on the sides of the picture to let the designers know how you want your doll to look.
My girls are going to cherish their dolls because they created them. You can get more information on ordering your own Cryoow Doll on their website. Zevia Zero Calorie Soda Product Review and Giveaway

Looking for a healthier alternative to sugary sodas or diet sodas that are full of chemicals? I have cut out artificial sweetener from my diet and replaced the sweetener in my coffee with stevia (a natural sweetener made from the stevia leaf). But I was missing something….soda. I sometimes drink favored seltzer but it lacks flavor. Then I found Zevia. Zevia is a calorie free soda with no artificial sweeteners. It is make with stevia so it doesn’t raise blood sugar levels and it doesn’t contain chemicals like other diet sodas. Finally the answer to my soda prayers!
Zevia comes in many different flavors including ones similar to all your favorite soda varieties. I was sent cream soda, cherry cola, ginger root beer, ginger ale, grape, and grapefruit citrus to try. I will say that I am a diet soda drinker so I am used to the taste of diet sodas. My experience with Zevia may be different than someone who drinks regular soda normally but I really enjoyed all the flavors. I will say that the directions say to drink it as cold as possible which is what I did. My favorite was cherry cola but the ginger root bear and cream soda were a close second and third. I found the flavors flavorful without being too overpowering. They are definitely a great alternative to diet sodas with chemicals. I am happy that I can once again enjoy a can of soda with my dinner.
I was amazed to find out that Zevia even has recipe section on their site with ideas on using Zevia in creative recipes! I checked the Zevia finder and found out that several stores in my area sell Zevia. I can’t wait to try more flavors.

Have you been to Dunkin’ Donuts lately? They have lots of new choices on their menu for both foods and beverages. My favorites by are the two new iced coffee flavors inspired by their sister brand, Baskin-Robbins ice cream. They offer Mint Chocolate Chip Iced Coffee and Old Fashioned Butter Pecan Iced Coffee. Both taste just like iced cream. I really can’t say which is my favorite because they are both delicious! Of course you can still get hot and iced coffee in their other flavors such as French Vanilla and Hazelnut. And if you are a coffee purist, Dunkin’ Donuts also offers their Dunkin’ Dark Roast coffee in iced coffee and if you prefer hot coffee the Dunkin’ Dark Roast can be purchased by the pound. If you are not a coffee fan they also have iced tea and iced sweet tea to quench your thirst.
If you are looking for a cool treat as temperatures heat up, Dunkin’ Donuts has you covered. They have introduced 3 new Coolatta Frozen Beverage flavors to their Coolatta line-up- Berry Blast, Raspberry Lime, and Minute Maid Orange. The Dunkin’ Donuts Coolatta flavor list also includes Strawberry, Strawberry Lemonade, Blue Raspberry, Frozen Lemonade, Vanilla Bean and for the coffee lovers, Frozen Coffee, Frozen Mocha Coffee, and Frozen Caramel Coffee. I’ve always been a Coolatta fan but even I didn’t know that you can get them with flavor shots. You can add any flavor on the flavor menu to any Coolatta. And if that isn’t fun enough, you can also combine Coolatta flavors and become your own mixologist. Why not try Vanilla Bean with Strawberry? Or for a fun, tie-dye look mix Raspberry Lime, Strawberry, and Blue Raspberry. I know my girls are going to love mixing flavors for their own signature Coolatta blend. They also have Southern Style Biscuits with either sausage or chicken on them. YUMMY! Their biscuits are made with a new flakier recipes and are brushed with butter flavored spread after baking. May 14th is National Buttermilk Biscuit Day so why not try one! Don’t forget to ask for a little honey for your biscuit!
If you are looking for a yummy lunch, Dunkin’ Donuts has both tuna salad and chicken salad wraps that you can also get on any other type of bread. They both come with bacon and white cheddar cheese. If you are looking for a light meal or snack our favorite item on the menu in my family is the Wake-Up Wrap Sandwich. I like mine with just egg and cheese while one of my daughters likes it with bacon, egg, and cheese and my other daughter prefers hers with ham, egg, and cheese. They make a great after school snack.
If you are looking for healthier options make sure to check out Dunkin’ Donut’s DDSmart Menu of items that are 400 calories or less. These include Egg White Flatbread Sandwiches, Egg & Cheese on an English Muffin, Wake-up Wraps, and more!

Dunkin’ Donuts wouldn’t be Dunkin’ Donuts without their delicious donuts! Right now for Spring they are featuring the Spring Showers Donut which has a yeast shell filled with apple raspberry jelly and is topped with strawberry and pastel green icing drizzle over white dipped icing. Their other Spring donut is the Spring Fling Donut which is a yeast ring donut frosted with strawberry icing and topped with pastel green and pastel yellow drizzle. Both are available nationwide through May. They are so pretty you might not want to eat them…….Nah, I’m sure you’ll eat ’em!

Boutique by Corelle Review and Giveaway! #Corelle #Giveaway Ends May 13th

Corelle is a brand that has a long history of being elegant and well loved but I learned so much more about its products and history at an event in Miami this week. Corelle is part of the same company as other familiar brands that include Pyrex, CorningWare, Baker’s Secret, Snapware, and Chicago Cutlery. I’m sure most people have at least one item from one of these companies in their kitchen. Did you know that Chicago Cutlery was one of the first companies to offer a knife block for their products? Neither did I!
Over the years Corelle hasn’t changed much besides the patterns they offer because why mess with what works! Speaking of patterns, there are between 75-100 patterns of Corelle available at any given time so they have something for everyone. They are so beautiful and elegant that you can even use them as accent pieces to decorate with. In 2005 they introduced their first non-round plates. I love their square plates! And in 2008 they came out with a line of baking dishes. The baking dishes are 50% lighter than ceramic baking dishes which makes taking hot food out of the oven so much easier. Even if you don’t have their baking dishes, you can still bake with Corelle. All of their dinnerware can be used to bake in an oven preheated to up to 350 degrees! Who knew?!?!
Corelle is not only lighter than ceramic tableware but it also saves space. The same number of Corelle plates and bowls takes up much less space than ceramic plates and bowls. What would you do with extra cabinet space? I know I for one would love extra space in my cabinets. Plus, because they are so break and chip resistant, children can help wash and put them away and you don’t have to worry about them being too heavy. Corelle also uses less packaging in their boxes because their dishware fits so well together in the box. Every bit to help the environment. I love that!
Prior to attending this event I really didn’t realize just how durable Corelle is. My sister has Corelle dishes but she doesn’t have children. I had always wrongly assumed that I couldn’t have Corelle in my house because I have 2 small children. I have always loved how Corelle looked but I just thought they just wouldn’t work in my house. I am so glad that I found out just how wrong I was!
Corelle is made in the U.S. and the only company that makes its products out of exclusive Vitrelle material for durability. They are made of 3 layers of glass and subject to a 6 foot drop test. It is not impossible to break them but they are break and chip resistant. They are backed by a 3 year limited warranty. Corelle is not only durable and elegant but they also are very easy to clean. They are fully finished unlike some ceramic dishware with flat, unfinished rings on the bottom. This makes them not only easier to clean but since the bottoms are finished they are smooth and won’t scratch your table either. My kids have a habit of pushing plates and bowls on the table so I like that Corelle won’t scratch it. I am so excited to know that Corelle doesn’t have to be just for elegant dining and I can use them everyday with my family!
There are so many styles of Corelle patterns to choose from. Some people like to mix and match styles and colors which is such a fun look. Corelle recently came out with a new line called Boutique by Corelle. It comes in 2 embossed patterns- Swept which are feature round plates and Cherish which feature square plates. Both patterns are on solid white plates so they go with any color themed room, mix well with other patterns, and are great for casual or elegant dining.
Corelle makes a great addition to any bridal registry. Their dishware comes in sets of 16- 4 dinner plates, 4 dessert plates, 4 bowls, and 4 mugs. Jabra Freeway In Car Speakerphone Review and Mother’s Day Sweepstakes

I am so excited that I was selected as one of the bloggers to receive a Jabra Freeway In Car Speakerphone to review. I should be receiving it soon and I will add my review when I do but meanwhile I wanted to tell you a little about it and share Jabra’s Mother’s Day Sweepstakes with you, too!
The Jabra Freeway allows you to make and answer calls with just your voice. It announces who is calling and also alerts you to your battery status. It has a build-in motion sensor so it turns on and off as you enter your car. With the Jabra Freeway you can stream music, podcasts, and GPS directions directly to your Freeway through your car’s audio system with the help of the FM transmitter. You can even use it with 2 different mobile devices AT THE SAME TIME! WOW!!! I can’t wait to try out the clear calls and great sound quality. The battery has an amazing talk time of up to 14 hours and up to 40 days standby time.
UPDATE- I received my Jabra Freeway two days ago. I immediately plugged it into my computer with the included USB cable to charge it up. Within 2 hours it was fully charged and ready to go. There is no assembly required so it is easy to set the Jabra Freeway up. Simply clip it on your visor and turn it on. Right away it started searching for a phone to connect to. Once it found my mobile device and I paired them, I was ready to make or receive a call. I like that you can pair it with 2 devices so my husband and I can both have our phones set up with it. When a call comes in, the Jabra Freeway announces who is calling. Then you can choose to say “answer” to accept the call or “ignore” to ignore the call. When you tap the Voice button it asks you to say a command. You can tell it who to call, say redial and it will redial the last number you called, or even say call back and it will call back the last person who called you. If you are not sure what your voice options are you can push the voice button and ask “what can I say” and it will tell you all the functions you can choose from.
I found the Jabra Freeway very user friendly and easy to use.
The calls were all very clear through the Jabra Freeway. I used the FM feature to broadcast the calls through my FM stereo but I personally liked hearing the call better just through the Jabra Freeway itself. I love that you can even listen to the music on your phone, listen to podcasts, and lots more through the Jabra Freeway. It has a sleek design that isn’t just easy to use but also looks great, too. The only thing I want to note is that if you are out of your car but still within range of the device, it might answer your incoming calls. When I park on my driveway and I am inside my house I don’t have a problem with the Freeway answering my calls. Yesterday, however, I was just getting in my house and my front door was still open when a call came in and the Freeway answered the call. No problem though, I just had to switch it on my cell phone. If you park in your garage and you find that the Freeway is picking up your calls you might have to turn it off when you leave the car. Normally you just leave it on and it senses when you reenter the vehicle. I have a bluetooth speakerphone system already build into my car so hubby will be getting my Jabra Freeway. I feel better knowing that he’ll be able to use his phone hands free while driving with the Freeway and will be much safe. Happy early Father’s Day, honey!
