For that reason, it’s a good idea to educate yourself and be prepared. The three conditions listed below affect at least one-third of all people at some point during their life. You need to know about them to ensure you can identify the symptoms and act fast. At the end of the day, you’re going to need professional medical help as soon as possible.
Cancer. Cancer can affect every single part of the human body. While it might start in specific areas, it spreads quickly and infects many different regions. There is no official cure for cancer, but radiotherapy is thought to work well in reducing it.
Heart attack. Thanks to our incredibly unhealthy western diets, millions of people suffer heart attacks each and every year. Symptoms include having a tight chest and being unable to breathe. If you think you feel the onset of a heart attack, you must call an ambulance before it’s too late.
Stroke. People who have a stroke can find their entire life changes forever. This condition can affect mobility, perception, speech and a whole host of other bodily functions. People who smoke have a much higher chance of having a stroke at some point in their life.

We all know that celebrities look fabulous at all times because they have personal stylists to tell them what to wear. They have makeup artists to ‘put their face on’. They have hair stylists to give them healthy looking tresses. Most of us don’t have these luxuries, but that doesn’t mean we can’t look great in celebrity inspired clothing. These 10 trends that I think are versatile and can be worn by just about anybody:
1. The Bandage Dress
The bandage dress is a great choice of going out dress because it looks so luxurious. Not only that, but because of the way it’s made it can suck you in in all of the right places. Many people find that they look much slimmer in a bandage dress. Kim Kardashian eat your heart out! Pair with a pretty purse for a night out with the girls.
2. Leather Trousers
Leather trousers might seem a little scary to you, but there’s no reason you can’t pull them off if you’re feeling brave. Wear with a casual top, or even a jumper to dress them down a little. On your feet, wear sneakers or boots! I like to use apps to help me when I’m not sure how to pull something off. Something like JustFab might help you too!
3. Faux Fur Jackets
The faux fur jacket is a must have this year, and looks so luxurious on. All you need to do is stand up straight and smile to look confident in a garment like this.
4. Checked Shirts
Checked shirts are the perfect casual piece of clothing. Whether you’re spending the day at home or going to do the food shop, anybody can pull off this shirt. Wear it buttoned up, buttoned down with a t-shirt underneath, or tied around your waist for a grunge look!
5. Ripped Jeans
Ripped jeans add a casual feel to an otherwise dressy outfit. Wear a dressier top to mix things up a little!
6. Leather Jackets
Leather jackets are always a style essential. Black is a good choice as it’s so versatile, but you can even find pastel colors these days.
7. Trench Coats
The trench coat is the perfect dressy coat. Wear it when you want to look glamorous but inconspicuous to make an impression. You can wear this for drinks, on a date, or even to an interview. Think of Olivia Palermo when you wear yours.
8. Knee High Boots
Knee high boots don’t need to make you look like you’re waiting on a street corner. Wear them with a long, casual jumper to tone down the boots, or even a shirt dress.
9. Fedora Hats
I think every single celebrity owns a fedora hat. These hats look great when dressed up or down, so you have a lot of choice when it comes to styling them.
10. Parka Jackets
A more casual coat, very 90s in style. The 90s are back in a big way, so you’re probably spotting parka coats everywhere right about now. Top model Cara Delevingne loves them!

Recently VTech released their 4th generation kid’s learning tablet called InnoTab MAX. I was so excited the first time I saw it on T.V. Seriously! I don’t even think my daughter cared as much as I did. Once I heard we would get the chance to review it, I was over the moon.
It has new processing power that is six times faster than the previous generation and features a 7″ high-resolution multi-touch screen display and is recommended for kids ages 3-9. I love that HUGE age gap. I hate when I buy technology or any toy for that matter and they grow out of it as soon as I blink.
First, I have to tell you that I just love the size of this tablet. And it has a cover that’s attached so kids can just flip it shut when they are done. Now us parents don’t have to worry about the screen getting damaged when not in use.
This amazing InnoTab MAX features an enhanced 2nd generation version, of Premium VTech Kid Connect™, at no additional charge, allowing children and parents to exchange voice and text messages, photos, drawings and fun stickers in real time between the tablet and a smartphone. I just downloaded the app right to my iPhone and BAM I could connect with her. This is great when I have to go out of town for work. I can still connect with her in our own way. I love it!
As if all of that weren’t enough, InnoTab MAX offers the best of both learning worlds with access to more than 650 educator-endorsed, age and stage appropriate learning titles as well as carefully cultivated educational Android apps that can be purchased and downloaded through VTech’s Learning Lodge® app store. Score! The tablet comes with 15 onboard apps including Premium VTech® Kid Connect, My Magic Beanstalk, Movie Maker, Art Studio, Wonder Cam Max, E-Reader with Story Dictionary and a whole lot more. So oldest daughter that’s 11 has used it as a homework helper as well. Just don’t tell her I told you that.
Something that was so important to me was the battery. We have had a few other devices that we were always buying new batteries for. It was unreal! The InnoTab MAX features include a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery and kid-safe Wi-Fi so kids can explore appropriate online games, videos and websites that have been pre-selected by VTech. No more worrying about what your kids could be doing on the world wide web. Plus, parental controls allow parents to manage their child’s apps, web access and tablet time, as well as view a progress log. You are allowed a maximum of four users, which is plenty for us.
For me, this tablet is pretty much perfect. A handle, flip and fold stand and removable cover are provided on InnoTab MAX for convenience and as added protection. It didn’t come with a screen protector, but I did add one just to be safe. I love that my daughter is learning while having fun. I’m sure she doesn’t even realize she actually is learning. While in Los Angeles a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to interview 8 time Grammy award winning artist, Fergie. Fergie has many accolades on her resume including hosting New Years Rockin’ Eve 9 tmes, winning 2007 top pop rock female for solo record for Dutchess which went on to sell 6.2 million copies world wide, and winning 5 AMA’s as a member of the multi-platinum group The Black Eyed Peas. 
Fergie was simply adorable and such a tiny little thing. You would never know she just had baby Axl a year ago. She was so sweet and gave off such a cool, easy going vibe. We were lucky enough that she sang a bit for us which was amazing of course! I wish I could have shared the audio with my readers!
Fergie has lots of big news coming up. She is performing at AMAs and co-hosting and performing at the New Years Rockin’ Eve . We asked her how she keeps it all straight and has time for everything and she said she used iCal to keep her schedules organized- one color for time with her husband, one color for mommy time with her baby boy, and one color for time for thing for just her like her career. She said it is all about give and take time-wise to balance a busy life. For example the weekend she is performing on both shows she admits won’t be a good “mommy” week for her and her baby but she’ll make it up with him the next weekend. Just like any other mom juggling career, family, and personal time, it is all about that right balance. She said she is a true believer of needing “me time”.
Fergie does so much more than music such as acting, entertaining, and fashion. She told us that besides entertainment and music her favorite thing to do career-wise is fashion.
We asked Fergie what the inspiration behind her new single, LA Love (LaLa) and she said she is proud of her hometown of LA so it is partly inspired by Los Angeles. She has traveled so much around the world over the last 10 years so she also wanted to share her love of places all around the world so LA Love is also her love letter to the world.

Fergie will take to the stage to make her worldwide television debut performing her first single, since 2006, “L.A. LOVE (la la),” from her upcoming album. The evening will have performances by many musicians and be host, Pitbull. The 2014 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.
Fergie recently announced that she has been in the studio working on the follow-up to her 2006 solo album “The Dutchess,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 and spent 94 weeks on the chart. The album went on to sell 6.2 million copies and 28.5 million tracks worldwide and spawned three No. 1 hits on the Hot 100: “London Bridge,” “Glamorous,” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” as well as the Top 5 singles “Fergalicious” and “Clumsy.” Since “The Dutchess’” release, Fergie has also released two multi-Platinum albums, “The E.N.D.” and “The Beginning,” with The Black Eyed Peas– with whom she has sold 31 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide. Sometimes it is the little things that make the day so special. If you can’t wait until the big day, you might want to let your little ones open their stockings on Christmas eve. Mini-games
When you are choosing your stocking-fillers, you need to think about what will fit in the stockings. That means that you need to get things that are small so that they will fit. An Interview with the Director and Producer of Disney’s Newest Movie Short, Feast #BigHero6Event

Hopefully you’ve already seen Big Hero 6 and the adorable movie short that precedes it, Feast, but if you haven’t here’s a little bit of what you’re missing.
Feast is the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share. Winston is an adorable Boston Terrier who shares many different types of food with his owner, such as french fries and pasta. When Winston’s owner gets a girlfriend we see the types of foods Winston is given changes to healthy foods like vegetables. I don’t want to tell too much more and spoil the movie short for you but it is amazing just how much story can be told just through the food that is given to Winston.
Fun Facts about Feast:
~Winston is the first Boston Terrier featured in a Disney movie.
~The town in Feast is based on a college town called Oxford, Ohio.
~ It took 53 weeks from start of production to Feast’s premiere.
~ It took a team of around 7 key people plus lots of other people worked on Feast a little.
~Feast was created while other Disney movies were being made (such as Big Hero 6). The people responsible for making Feast were also working on other bigger movie projects as well so production of Feast was worked around people being available to work on it.
~Feast showcases how a dog relates to it’s owner based on patterns in how he/she feeds it.
~All food in Feast was meant to look iconic so it was obvious within a second or two what food it was.
~Feast Fridays- Every Friday the crew of the movie would be gathered together to go over what was done during the week and one food from short would be served such as a waffle bar, carrots and humus, etc.
