My 2 year old can never get enough Mickey Mouse Club House. Actually, as sad as it sounds I often have to bribe her to do things with the hope she can watch Mickey if she does it. Unfortunately it isn’t always on when needed. This is why I love having it on DVD and Quest for the Crystal Mickey is perfect!

We have a few of the Bubble Guppies movies and love them! Sunny Days on DVD is just in time for SUMMER! Of course with great weather we love to be riding bikes, swimming or anything else that doesn’t involve being indoors. We have a lot of cartoon DVD’s in this house. The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets DVD seems to be a top favorite. Seems to get played a little more than some of the others. I have 2 girls, ages 9 and 20 months and they both get into it. Which is great! Having such a big gape in age, there isn’t much they have in common. Maybe it’s all of the intriguing colors, fun music or super cute animals. Either way it’s a win win in my book. Great DVD for kids that have or are getting ready to experience a move they are not happy about! The Littlest Pet Shop might just show them it’s not as bad as they think. With 5 great episodes it gives me enough time to get the dishes, laundry and dinner done. SCORE!

My 2 year old seriously goes CRAZY over Mickey & Minnie. Once I found out about Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s The Wizard Of Dizz DVD I was super stoked. Nothing like putting a creative new spin on an old classic to bring the whole family together. We used this movie for our last movie & pizza night, and it was a huge hit.

In this exciting journey to a wonderful land of enchantment and surprises when Minnie and Pluto get swept away by a pink tornado. Before they knew what hit them, they were in a place filled with rainbow tress and awesome little friends called “chipmunchkins”. Along her journey she makes all kinds of new friends including Scarecrow Goofy, Donald the Lion, and Mickey the Tin Mouse. Filled with twists and exciting happenings, Minnie just wants to make it home! Will it happen? You will have to watch and find out for yourself!

Love Team Umizoomi like we do? Then you must check out their awesome DVD “Animal Heroes”! My 2 year old loves seeing all of the animals in action, and I love that she’s learning new things. Great combination. They music is great as well. Instead of just sitting in front of the t.v, she is up dancing around and being silly. Just like Team Umizoomi! I try not to let my girls watch too much television, but when they do I always try to make sure it has some educational value. With 4 awesome episodes on this DVD they teach kids shape matching, number identification, measurements and so much more. Perfect for preschool and Kindergarten prep!

Zaggora Hot Pants Review

So I have decided this Spring that I really need to get in shape. I am not shooting for a 6pack or to be able to bench press my weight. I just want to be able to run around the block without feeling like I might have a heart attack. I have never been able to run. Even as a child I remember doing the mile run in PE class. That was the worst day of my year, every year! I could get half way before collapsing in the grass hyperventilating. Sad right? I know! That’s why I have made this a personal goal of mine to get my body moving.

To help my journey along I was super excited when I found Zaggora Hot Pants.  If you haven’t heard about them yet let me fill you in. The idea of the material is to help you burn more calories while you exercise. The material is really thick, almost reminds me of a wetsuit. It traps your body heat causing you to sweat more. Zaggora says:

*after 30 minutes of exercise, they can lead to a 12.5% increase in energy expenditure in the 30-60 minutes after exercise

*Increases heart rate and exercise intensity

*exercise at a 3% lower speed and 23% lesser incline to achieve the same heart rate range as someone exercising in standard exercise clothing

Putting them on the first time was a little challenging. I think it’s because I just wasn’t sure what to expect, and because they aren’t the same texture as other workout clothing.

Once I had them on it was love at first feel! They move great with my body, super lightweight and more comfortable than I expected. They do make a little bit of noise as my thighs rub together. I’m sure if my thighs didn’t rub together I wouldn’t have that issue of course…

They have a high waist which I find great.  Not only are the working my legs and thighs, but my midsection as well.  I seriously do everything in them now. If I know I am in for the day, I throw on my Zaggora Hot Pants and play with the baby, clean the house and then do my walk or run. When they say Hot Pants the aren’t kidding. I literally have to peel them off of my body. Generally I am not a sweaty person, but if I am in my Hot Pants long enough they are drenched. Which I am super excited about. I am hoping that is the cellulite melting off.

Because of the special material they do need to be hand washed. Which is not my favorite thing ever but a sacrifice I am willing to make. I am definitely going to need a few more pairs as often as I am wearing them. Overall I would totally recommend these Zaggora Hot Pants to anyone that enjoys activewear. By far the best I have yet to wear. Love love love them and I am sure you would also. If you check out their website at Zaggora.com you will see all of the great clothing they have available. Max and Ruby- A Bunny for Every Season DVD Review

My 18 month old goes CRAZY when Max and Ruby come on TV! She stops whatever she is doing and runs to see where that catchy Max and Ruby theme song is coming from. If your little ones are anything like mine, they will delight to know that available soon is Max and Rubys’ first ever multi-feature DVD!

Go ahead and spring into Easter with Max and Ruby and accompany them as they go Easter egg hunting, bird watching and even camping! But what about going trick or treating? Even sledding and snow men building in the winter. Yes, it may be all seasons put into the one DVD collection, but that truly is the best part, you pop in whichever DVD is appropriate, and let the fun begin!

My favorite episodes are the Easter egg hunt and the summer vacation. Join Max and Ruby as they go kite flying and sand castle building. Who desire to be beachside playing on the sand? I do!

Regardless whether you watch them in order or out of order it’s always a good time. With 48 total episodes there is one sure thing, that Max and Ruby will never agree on one thing- that you will have a blast doing so along with them!
