Are you a blogger looking to make some money or more money with your blog?  When I first started my blog I had no idea that bloggers actually made money with their blogs.  Then a wonderful blogger introduced me to affiliate marketing.  Affiliate marketing provides bloggers with benefits such as product samples to review, discounts, and even earning compensation for advertising on their blog.

5 Affiliate Marketing Benefits for Bloggers is a webinar presented by Tricia Meyer and Deborah Carney to introduce you to the world of Affiliate Marketing and it’s benefits for bloggers.  These knowledgeable women discuss everything from product reviews, networking, adding content to your blog, contest sponsorship, monetizing your blog, and more.  Here is a brief preview of the webinar- http://bloggingabcs.com/reviewweb1.

I recommend this webinar for any blogger who already has some experience but wants to take their blog to the next level and start earning money for what they do.  The video is about an hour and 20 minutes long but it is chocked full of great information.

I must confess.  I have a new obsession.  I LOVE Diamond Candles!  What are Diamond Candles you ask?  Diamond Candles are soy candles that have a surprise inside.  Each Diamond Candle has a ring inside the candle jar.  The only way to get the ring out is to burn the wonderfully scented candle.  I chose Harvest Blend and it smells wonderful.  It’s strong enough to make my entire house smell wonderful but not too overpowering.  It smells like a wonderful combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, apples, and oranges.  YUMMY!

See the ring wrapped in gold foil towards the top?

It’s hard to have patience to let the candle burn down low enough to get the ring out.  Some people, ahem, ok *I* didn’t have much patience so after about 30 minutes of burning the candle I blew it out and used a knife to get my ring out.  But I was lucky because my ring was near the top.  I would have had to be more patient if it was down near the bottom.

Anyway, back to the rings.  Each ring in a Diamond Candle is valued at anywhere from $10 to $5,000.  Yes, $5,000!!!  That’s part of the excitement of Diamond Candles.  You don’t know what ring you will get and if it will be one that is real sterling silver or gold and real gemstones and diamonds.  On of my readers showed me a picture of a ring that she got from Diamond Candles that was made of aquamarines and diamonds and worth I believe she said $1,200!!!  How cool is that?

Here is my beautiful ring!  It wasn’t a real diamond but I love it anyway!
