“We are celebrating Summer in the City with a line-up of favorite tribute bands to attract music lovers of every era,” said Amy DiNorscio, Amphitheater manager for the City of Boca Raton. “Added to the series are two free family movie nights, exciting ticketed concerts by Cyndi Lauper, Shawn Mendes, and Flight of the Conchords, a ticketed 80s themed event night featuring the movie Sixteen Candles, and of course, performances by our own Florida Atlantic University Orchestra and Symphonia Boca Raton.”
Summer in the Series Schedule
The Symphonia Strings and violin soloist Mei Mei Luo will delight with movements from Serenades by masters such as Tchaikovsky, Elgar and Dvorak and Mozart’s famous Eine Kleine Nacht Music. In addition, works by Aaron Copeland, Leroy Anderson and Strauss & Radetzky will be in the mix.

The Symphonia will dazzle with popular favorites that will delight those of all ages. The eclectic program will feature a brilliant solo performance by conductor and trumpeter Jeff Kaye.
Tribute concert attendees ages 21 and over can sample a variety of craft beers, learn how to make brews and meet experts from Hollywood Brewery at the Beer Garden starting at 6:30 p.m.
For all free events, blankets and chairs are welcome, but for your convenience, chairs will also be available to rent for $5.00.
Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, car pool and use free parking at City Hall and the Boca Raton Library. Food and beverages will be available to purchase inside the venue. No outside food or beverages are allowed. All shows are rain or shine.
