It’s that time of year again when Kmart’s Fab 15 holiday toy list comes out and one of the Fab toys on the list is the Lalaloopsy™ Loopy Hair Doll. My younger daughter was so excited when we received Jewel Sparkles to review. She loves her other Lalaloopsy dolls but this new doll has long, soft yarn for hair that she can brush, style, twist, braid, and put into clips. There are so many different, fun ways that she can style Jewel Sparkles’s hair.
Jewel Sparkles comes with a special comb to brush her hair and three sets of pretty hair clips. She has a beautiful removable dress and removable shoes for fashion play. Her arms, legs, and head are articulated and fun to pose. She has become my daughter’s favorite doll!
The Lalaloopsy were once rag dolls who magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn.Jewel Sparkles’s Sewn on Date: March 13th (Jewel Day) and was made from remnants of a real princess’ dress. Jewel is very graceful, a little bit bossy, and loves to dance and wear sparkly clothes. She has a Persian cat.

Kmart and Shop Your Way have partnered with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign to allow members and gift-givers the opportunity to donate Fab 15 toys to children in need at ShopYourWay.com/
charityregistry. “This year, Kmart has committed to making the season brighter for every child,” said Hugo Malan, SVP and president, fitness, sporting goods and toys at Sears Holdings. “We always strive to select toys for our Fab 15 list that will top the wish lists of kids everywhere and from the many ways to shop for the hottest toys at Kmart including online, in-store and via mobile phone – as well as donate to a good cause – parents will be thrilled that this year’s list is making shopping easy.”
Whether purchasing the toys in-store, buying online and getting free store pick-up, or having them shipped directly home – getting the most wanted toys is easy, affordable and convenient. At kmart.com/fab15, gift-givers can easily shop for the Fab 15 toys online or from a mobile device. On the site, customers can find the nearest locations with the toys in stock.
To bring to life how the holiday shopping season can be easy and affordable with Kmart and Shop Your Way, the retailer worked with award-winning advertising director, Paul Fuentes and online sensation Anita Renfroe of “The Mom Song” fame, to create a series of videos that help “struggling Santas” learn about all of the convenient ways to find perfect toys. The videos, starring well-known comedians including Big Jay Oakerson, Chuck Nice, Kareem Green and Brian Scott McFadden, can be viewed on Kmart’s YouTube channel.
In addition, the annual Kmart holiday toy catalog includes this year’s Fab 15, plus a broad selection of on-trend toys for all ages and stages.
Free Layaway at Kmart In-Store, Online and Mobile
Getting ahead on holiday shopping ensures that parents will be able to get the toys their kids want most. “We know that many families are concerned about holiday budgets,” said Malan. “Announcing the list in September helps parents plan ahead and take advantage of the year-round layaway at Kmart, easing the burden of holiday shopping on tight budgets.”
Acknowledging that many family budgets are stretched during the holidays, Kmart is offering free layaway service both online and in-stores from now until Nov. 23. From the comfort of their home, customers can initiate a layaway contract online and choose to ship their purchases home or pick-up their purchases from their selected Kmart. There is no minimum purchase and Shop Your Way members even earn points on layaway purchases. In addition, members can earn at least 10 dollars back in Shop Your Way points on layaway purchases made between Sept. 22 and Nov. 27 when completing a layaway contract.
Hot Holiday Toys, Available Only at Kmart
This holiday season, certain toys are available only at Kmart. For parents and gift-givers looking for that extra special toy, the Sofia the First Transforming Dress and Trunk will deliver smiles on Christmas morning. This trunk features the ultimate royal dress up collection including dress, tiara, gloves, purse, wand and the amulet for a complete Princess Sofia look.
For the legion of loyal Barbie fans and collectors worldwide, the auburn Holiday Barbie 2013 doll is also available only at Kmart. For the silver anniversary doll in the series, Holiday Barbie dons a snow-themed gown, and comes with ornate earrings. There are also other toy exclusives available in-store and online outside of the Fab 15 list.
