My girls were so excited to get a chance to review CHARM IT! bracelets by High Intencity. They remind me of the charm necklaces I collected as a child. We love that the charms are mix and matchable so my girls can add new charms to their bracelets as well as share and trade charms.
First pick which bracelet or necklace you want to wear your charms on. There are lots of different color and design choices. You can also select already created sets as well.

My mother also loves his artwork, too, so I surprised her by bringing her as my guest.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce + Iced Coffee = YUMMY!!!

I received a bottle of Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce through a blogger program in exchange for sharing my honest opinion with you, my readers. Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce can be used in so many recipes from chocolate tortes to ice cream sundaes to many coffee drinks. Why pay a barista $5 for fancy coffee drink when you can make one at home with Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce? Here’s how I made the yummy iced coffee drink above.
- Brew coffee over ice.
- Add milk and Splenda to taste.
- Add 1 Tablespoon of Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce.
- Add iced coffee and more ice in a blender and blend until smooth. (I used my Magic Bullet)
- Decorate the sides of a glass with Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce.
- Pour coffee mix into glass and enjoy!
Next I plan on making Ice Cream Sundaes with my Ghirardelli Chocolate Sauce.

Did you know that Energizer makes Wax Flameless Candles? I didn’t until I saw the Energizer booth earlier this month at the BlogHer’12 convention. I was amazed at how beautiful and realistic they were. The candles are made of wax but have a light inside of them instead of a wick so you don’t light them. I couldn’t believe that they even flicker like real candles! My favorite part is that the candles come in so many different shapes and sizes so you can get them to match any decor. Some have timers so you can set them to turn on and off at certain times. And some are even operated by remote control!

Hallmark introduces Text Bands. With text bands children can create messages up to 10 characters long and then share these messages by fist bumping, high five-ing, or shaking hands with someone else with a Text Band. My girls loved swapping secret messages with each other. I am not concerned with my own children writing profanity but I wouldn’t want another child to be able to pass bad words to my children. So as a parent I really love that there is a filter so children cannot write any profanity. Text Bands can be changed, too. Each module can be removed and put into another band to match your wardrobe or mood. When my girls are feeling sad it is nice that they can send each other encouraging messages. And when one of them has a great achievement in school or at sports they can praise each other through their Text Bands. It’s so cute to see them trade messages.

I am so excited to announce that 1 month from today I will be joining 24 other awesome bloggers for an exciting Disney adventure in Los Angeles! I can’t even begin to tell you how blessed and honored I am to have been selected to be a part of exciting trip. I have only been to LA one other time and that was when I was filming an episode of Judge Judy.

Yes, I was on Judge Judy suing an ex-boyfriend who owed me money. She was actually pretty nice to me but she did shush me once. I won my case and that was a fun adventure but that is NOTHING compared to my adventure next month! We will be seeing several advance screenings of some upcoming movies, meeting with some of the stars and animators of the movies, and even attending an actual red carpet premiere. Here’s a little bit more on what my trip will entail:
Sunday, September 23rd: Arrive into Los Angeles and have a Welcome Dinner so everyone can get to know each other.
Monday, September 24th: Travel to the Walt Disney Animation Studios for a press day where we will speak with filmmakers and animators about WRECK-IT RALPH (in theaters November 2, 2012)
Plus the animated short PAPERMAN (in theaters November 2, 2012):
Following the press day we will see a sneak peak of Disney/Pixar’s MONSTERS, INC. 3D (in theaters December 19, 2012) on the Walt Disney Studios lot.
Tuesday, September 25th: Interview TBD cast members from FRANKENWEENIE (in theaters Oct. 5, 2012) followed by attending the Red Carpet Premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood!
Wednesday, September 26th: TBD screening before you depart for home!
I can hardly contain my excitement! Be sure to keep an eye out for my posts and follow along on my adventures from 9/23-9/26 with Twitter hashtag #DisneyMoviesEvent.
Now I just have to be on the look out for stowaways in my suitcase because my daughters both really want to see these movies and go with my on my trip!
