Remember the review I did on GlowCrazy to Go and the GlowCrazy Distance Doodler?  Well GlowCrazy was nice enought to send my children their new GlowCrazy Glove and it is such a fun edition to their GlowCrazy fun!  With the glove they can slip it on either their right hand or their left and use their fingers to write in the dark on the special GlowCrazy sticker sheets that we have on our walls. Remember last month when I reviewed Zaycon Foods here?  I have since ordered 40 pounds of ground beef from them as well and I am still a VERY satisfied customer.  It was only $2.89 for EXTRA LEAN 97/3 Ground Beef.  It came in 4 “logs” that were about 10 pounds each.  I was able to easily break it up into smaller packages to freeze.  I still have one log left that I am going to be making into meatballs and also browning it in crumbles for tacos and such.  Anyway, enough about that.  Here’s what you are waiting for, the giveaway!!!  Want to win your own 40 pounds of Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts?

Looking for a fun playset for your daughter or granddaughter this holiday season?  Check out the Polly Pocket Race To The Concert Playset.  It includes Includes 3 Polly Pocket dolls, 3 race tracks, a glitzy stage, 4 shops, and a giant loop.  Girls can decide which track to send Polly and her friends down as they launch them around the playset.   It was easy to assemble the playset and it did not take long at all which is always good when you have a not so patient child waiting to play with a new toy. 

As a mom of 2 daughters I like that this set is big enough for 2 children to play with it.  My daughter had her friend over and they both had fun playing on either side of the set.

(Can you tell this was the “Mommy, stop taking pictures and let us play” look? LOL)

The girls were able to use their imagination with this set, go to the consession stand, pretend to buy things in the souvenir shop, or have Polly and her friends rock out on stage.

When the dolls are launched through the track Polly’s theme song “All Good Day” starts to play.  My daughter and her friend thought that was the best part and they continuously sent the Polly Pocket dolls around the track to hear the song again.

Sweet Pea MP3 Player Review and Giveaway

I am so excited about this product and I know you will be, too.  First thank you all who helped me be selected to review Sweet Pea Toy Company’s Kid Friendly SweetPea3 MP3 Player.  My children love playing with MY things.  My cell phone, my MP3 player, and anything else they can get their hands on.  But I am always worried about them breaking my expensive “toys”.  They love listening to music but I didn’t want to get them an expensive gadget or a small MP3 player that they could easily break.  This Kid Friendly SweetPea3 MP3 player from Sweet Pea Toy Company is just the answer.

It is very sturdy and kid friendly.  It is geared for kids aged 0-6 but even my soon to be 8 year old got excited when I took it out of the box.  It comes preloaded with classic songs and stories and you can also easily add your own.  My girls are always fighting with me over who’s music to listen to in the car.  I love that this MP3 player not only has a speaker but it also has a place to plug in headphones.  Now we can load it up with our girls’ favorite music and then can listen to it in the car with their headphones.  We also added their favorite night time soothing music and ocean noises so they can listen to it at night while they are trying to go to sleep.

Press any button to wake up the SweetPea3.  After a few seconds it will start to play from the spot in the song where it was last played. Press the right button to advance to the next song and the left button to go to the previous song. Press the middle button to stop the song. You can also fast forward and fast rewind through a song by pressing and holding the right and left buttons respectively.  The SweetPea3 shuts off automatically when it is idle for one minute. It can be restarted again by pressing a button.  I also like that there are only 3 kid friendly buttons on it so children can scroll from song to song.  Parents can access the settings menu by pressing and holding the right and left buttons together for 6 seconds.  This way parents can control the volume, playlist, and auto off time, not the children.

The SweetPea3 MP3 Player for Kids is most appropriate for kids ages 0-6 years or for anyone who desires simplicity and robustness, such as many seniors and those with special needs.

Looking for a unique gift idea?  What about a picture puzzle from Piczzle?  Piczzle makes customized photo jigsaw puzzles from any picture you provide.  I created a Piczzle of my daughters that I am going to give them for Chanukah.   (I blacked out their names for our protection.)

I love making parties special with special decorations and special party favors.  It’s become one of my signatures over the years.  I am expecially excited that I found a great website called Party Beans.  With Party Beans you can customize y0ur own personal party favors.  You can choose which container you would like, what candy to fill it with, and how to decorate it.  You can add your own photos and they also have all different themed clip art to choose from.
The prices are great.  They start at just $1.29 per item and there is no minimum like some companies have.  You can have your favors filled with mints, M&M’s, or jelly beans.  They offer containers in various shapes and sizes to meet everyone’s needs.  From weddings favors, baby shower favors, bridal shower favors, birthday party favors, or any other event you can think of, you can make these personalized favors the hit of your party.
I love that you can add your own pictures to these favors to make them more personal.  I hate spending money on favors that just get thrown away.  They are so much more meaningful when they have a photo on them and favors like the personalized tins can be saved and used for other things once the candy is gone!

Party Beans are shipped FAST and they are even certified OU Kosher.  They quality of each item is great and the printing looks very professional.

I was given a credit on Party Beans to make my own favors for my review.  I decided to try out a few different items and they were all great.  I blurred out the names for my family’s protection.

I made key chains filled with mints for my mother, sister, and grandmother and I added my girls’ picture on them.  They were such a hit.

I also made breath strip cases (like Listerine breath strips) for me and my hubby with our wedding date on them because it was just our anniversary.

I also made myself a tin with a picture of my girls on it.

And for my girls’ upcoming birthdays I made them each a tin with a picture of a dolphin (their favorite animal) on it and a birthday message.

I can’t wait for my girls to get their tins.  I choose M&Ms in each girl’s favorite colors.  They will love them!

Smiley 360 PAM Mission

I was given a FREE can of PAM to try out for Smiley 360.  I had my doubts that the PAM would really work as well as they said it would.  I decided to make one of my stickiest, cheesiest meals, Mac and Cheese Casserole.  I was sure that it would stick to the casserole dish even with the PAM on it.  But I was willing to give it a try.  I sprayed the PAM all over my casserole dish.

I made my ooey, gooey, yummy Mac and Cheese and baked it to perfection.

And when I went to take it out I was amazed how easily it came out of the casserole dish.  Nothing stuck to it.  It was great!

And clean-up was a breeze.  I didn’t have to scrub or soak my casserole dish.  To my surprise cleaned off very easily.  PAM will be a new staple in my kitchen.

Bake Pops Gets 2 Thumbs Up From My Kids!

My kids have been begging me to buy them Bake Pops for months now so we were all excited when I was selected to do a product review on them.  Bake Pops use regular cake mix which I can always get for FREE/cheap with coupons so I like that.  The directions say that you can add pudding mix, an extra egg, milk instead of water, and some other changes but these are all optional.  I did follow all the directions to make our Red Velvet Cake Bake Pops and they came out dense but delicious.

It was really easy to make the Bake Pops.  I followed the directions to make regular cake batter.  Then I sprayed the wells of the Bake Pops tray with non-stick cooking spray and filled up each well with cake batter.  I put the top tray on, put the rubber clamps on the side, sprayed the top of the tray, and put it in the oven.  In 20 minutes they were ready.  My children were amazed when the Bake Pops came out of the oven and the cake has risen out a little through the tops of the trays.  Once they cooled a little I was able to take the excess cake off of the top tray.  They were like little dome shaped cookies and because they were thin, they were a little crispy and delicious.  For some of the Bake Pop decorations we created we used them as hats so it worked out well.

Now for the fun part.  I melted chocolate topping in different flavors and let the kids have fun making their own creations.  First we dipped the sticks in chocolate, put them in the cake, and let them harden in the freezer for a few minutes. This helped keep the sticks in the cake.

I am not sure who had more fun, the kids, me, or the biggest kid of all, my husband!  I will say that I have a whole new respect for Buddy, The Cake Boss.  It isn’t easy decorating with icing!  But I am sure with a little practice I’d get better at it.  My one big tip would be to get a styrofoam block to put the Bake Pop in while they dry.  Once we each made a creation we were scrambling to find a place to put them to free up our hands.

 I think all of our creations came out great even if the icing we used was a little runny.  No one seemed to care as they were eating their yummy works of art!  My family gives Bake Pops 2 thumbs up!
