There are so many magical things in the world. There are a lot of bad things in the world too. Things we’d rather didn’t exist and things we’d rather not deal with – but if we only had magical things, they wouldn’t be so magical then. Would we really appreciate how amazing they were if everything else was equally as amazing? Probably not. Here is a list of the most magical sights the world has to offer. Make sure you have your bucket list at the ready!
The Ice Caves in Iceland
The ice caves of Iceland are pure magical blue. They are formed on glaciers and once you’re inside you feel like you’re in another world. The reason for the amazing blue color is the fact the ice soaks up every other color apart from blue, so that’s how our eyes view it.
The Enchanted Well in Brazil
If you’re an adrenaline fiend, then you need to visit the enchanted well in Brazil. The water is so clear and blue, you can’t even tell where it starts. Swim in it if you dare. 40 species of animal previously thought to be extinct has also been found here!
The Swing at the ‘End of the World’, Ecuador
Amongst beautiful mountains and greenery, there is a lone treehouse. Hanging from this treehouse is a rope swing. The only difference is, this swing peers out over nothingness. It really does look and feel like you’re at the end of the world. Creepy but magical at the same time.
The Aurora Borealis, Lapland
If you want to see some incredible colours and lights in the sky, head to Lapland. The aurora borealis in Lapland is an incredible wonder of the world that everybody should see at least once.
Whitehaven Beach, Australia
Head to the look out point to enjoy the amazing view that is made from white sand mixing with the deep blue water. As the sand is so fine there are no clear lines, making this view seriously psychedelic!
The Black Forest, Germany
The forest is so thick with foliage that it earned its name the black forest. You’ll feel like you’ve entered a dark fairytale of some kind.
Machu Picchu, Peru
If you want to feel like you’ve stepped right into a time machine, you have to visit Machu Picchu. The architecture is breathtaking. The natural wonders and even the man made wonders are a sight to behold. You can’t put it into words – you really must see it for yourself. Do lots of research first so you’re prepared.
The Enchanted River, The Philippines
Here in the Philippines you’ll find a river with water so clear and blue. It might not sound like anything special to you, but once you’ve seen it you’ll change your mind. Swimming in it is the experience of a lifetime. Nobody knows where it began and it appears to have no source, hence the name. The waters are 50ft deep and people love coming here to dive, swim, or just relax.
