In My Little Pony Equestria Girls, released in fall 2013, Twilight Sparkle’s crown was stolen from the Crystal Empire, and she pursued the thief, Sunset Shimmer, into an alternate world where she finds herself turned into…a teenage girl! To regain her crown and return to Equestria, Twilight had to learn how to fit into this strange, new world and defeat Sunset Shimmer in a competition to become crowned Princess of the Fall Formal at Canterlot High.
Now, the girls of Canterlot High are back, and this time they’re rocking guitars! In My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, Canterlot High (CHS) is hosting a musical showcase, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are going to be performing with their new band, The Rainbooms. But when The Dazzlings, a new girl group, arrive at CHS and convince everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, tensions mount between the competing musical acts. A now-reformed Sunset Shimmer realizes that The Dazzlings may not be ordinary girls and are after something far more sinister than just being named Best Band at Canterlot High. The Rainbooms call on Princess Twilight to restore harmony to their world to help them perform a musical counter-spell so that they can win a battle that now determines the fate of the entire school.

What we thought:
My girls were so upset when they missed seeing My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks in theaters so they were excited when we received a copy to review. Both girls especially liked all of the music in this movie. The songs are catchy and upbeat. D’s favorite part was the end because they used magic. A’s favorite part is when the Dazzlings started singing in the cafeteria because she thinks their voices are pretty. The movie has a great message about friendship. It includes 8 animated shorts that are lots of fun.

Kmart
Kmart is offering an exclusive version of the My Little Pony Equstria Girls Rainbow Rocks DVD that contains an exclusive Limited-Edition Rainbow Rocks Backstage Pass, and a coupon to save $4 when you buy any one Equestria Girls toy and the DVD.
First we put on the DVD and the girls ate some snacks. The DVD featured several episodes of the Discovery Family Channel (formerly Hub Network) show, Littlest Pet Shop. Episodes include Topped with Buttercream, Trading Places, Sweet (Truck) Ride, What’s in the Batter, and Backers and Fakers. When Blythe Baxter moved into the city with her father, she never expected to move into the apartment above the Littlest Pet Shop. What is even more exiting is that Blythe finds out she can talk to animals. On this DVD children will join Blythe on adventures with her new animal friends including Penny the panda, Russell the hedgehog, and my favorite, Minka, the artistic monkey! It’s so nice when you can see your favorite toy come to life!
After the girls watched a few episodes on the DVD they worked together to assemble to toys that we received. Littlest Pet Shop encourages kids to be who they wanna be and use their creativity and create a world of their own. 
We received the Littlest Pet Shop Style Set and the Littlest Pet Shop Blythe Bedroom Style Set as well a pack of Littlest Pet shop figures. Each set has 95+ pieces to build and accessorize as well as stickers, Deco bits, and several pets. The sets also came with adorable accessories such as a lamp, a bed, and even a picture frame to decorate and play with.
I was impressed with the different shapes that were stamped into the plastic so users could easily match the symbols and know exactly which parts would fit together.
