Anything that has to do with singing and dancing are a HUGE hit at our house! My girls are always jumping around and going crazy. Who’s kids aren’t right? This is why the Dora the Explorer: Dora Rocks! DVD is great for active kids. With tons of rockstar action will love all of the sing-along adventures.

We are a bilingual family and appreciate kids programming that incorporates both Spanish and English. Another reason why we just love the Dora series. Dora Rocks is just the icing on the cake. Are you ready for a rockstar adventure?

Summary:
When Benny forgets to send his sing-along party invitations, Dora and Boots bring their microphone to Benny’s barn so they can call their friends to join them at the fiesta! Dora wears her special, pop-star outfit to sing a special song with all her friends and they keep rocking with two more musical adventures! Dora brings Baby Bongo to his first music show and meets Map’s little nephew, Little Map!

My 2 year old can never get enough Mickey Mouse Club House. Actually, as sad as it sounds I often have to bribe her to do things with the hope she can watch Mickey if she does it. We have a few of the Bubble Guppies movies and love them! Sunny Days on DVD is just in time for SUMMER! Of course with great weather we love to be riding bikes, swimming or anything else that doesn’t involve being indoors. But of course there are a few rainy days here and there and that’s when this great DVD comes in handy. Bubble Guppies Sunny Days brings the sun and the beach to us inside. With 6 amazing episodes we can either veg and watch them all with our favorite snacks or pick our favorites. Packed full of learning adventures, great animation and tons of fun songs this DVD is sure to please all members of the family. It worked for ours! Just try not to get the songs stuck in your head like I always do.

We have a lot of cartoon DVD’s in this house. The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets DVD seems to be a top favorite. Seems to get played a little more than some of the others. I have 2 girls, ages 9 and 20 months and they both get into it. Which is great! Having such a big gape in age, there isn’t much they have in common. Maybe it’s all of the intriguing colors, fun music or super cute animals. Either way it’s a win win in my book. Great DVD for kids that have or are getting ready to experience a move they are not happy about! The Littlest Pet Shop might just show them it’s not as bad as they think. With 5 great episodes it gives me enough time to get the dishes, laundry and dinner done. SCORE!

My 2 year old seriously goes CRAZY over Mickey & Minnie. Once I found out about Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s The Wizard Of Dizz DVD I was super stoked. Nothing like putting a creative new spin on an old classic to bring the whole family together. We used this movie for our last movie & pizza night, and it was a huge hit.

In this exciting journey to a wonderful land of enchantment and surprises when Minnie and Pluto get swept away by a pink tornado. Before they knew what hit them, they were in a place filled with rainbow tress and awesome little friends called “chipmunchkins”. Along her journey she makes all kinds of new friends including Scarecrow Goofy, Donald the Lion, and Mickey the Tin Mouse. Filled with twists and exciting happenings, Minnie just wants to make it home! Will it happen? You will have to watch and find out for yourself!

Love Team Umizoomi like we do? Then you must check out their awesome DVD “Animal Heroes”! My 2 year old loves seeing all of the animals in action, and I love that she’s learning new things. Great combination. They music is great as well. Instead of just sitting in front of the t.v, she is up dancing around and being silly. Just like Team Umizoomi! I try not to let my girls watch too much television, but when they do I always try to make sure it has some educational value. With 4 awesome episodes on this DVD they teach kids shape matching, number identification, measurements and so much more. Perfect for preschool and Kindergarten prep!

Max and Ruby- A Bunny for Every Season DVD Review

My 18 month old goes CRAZY when Max and Ruby come on TV! She stops whatever she is doing and runs to see where that catchy Max and Ruby theme song is coming from. If your little ones are anything like mine, they will delight to know that available soon is Max and Rubys’ first ever multi-feature DVD!

Go ahead and spring into Easter with Max and Ruby and accompany them as they go Easter egg hunting, bird watching and even camping! But what about going trick or treating? Even sledding and snow men building in the winter. Yes, it may be all seasons put into the one DVD collection, but that truly is the best part, you pop in whichever DVD is appropriate, and let the fun begin!

My favorite episodes are the Easter egg hunt and the summer vacation. Join Max and Ruby as they go kite flying and sand castle building. Who desire to be beachside playing on the sand? I do!

Regardless whether you watch them in order or out of order it’s always a good time. With 48 total episodes there is one sure thing, that Max and Ruby will never agree on one thing- that you will have a blast doing so along with them!

Dora’s Butterfly Ball DVD Review

Vamonos! I don’t know about you guys but my little one goes crazy whenever the
Dora the Explorer song comes on. She stops whatever shes doing and finds a comfy
spot in her play room to lounge around watching Dora, Boots and their crazy adventures.

Dora’s Butterfly Ball is the new DVD that not only will entertain your little
ones, but will also engage them on basic Spanish words that is so important now
days in the bilingual or even trilingual world that we live in. There are
multiple episodes in this DVD and each one is fun packed with adventures and
learning that your kids will love. PLUS it came with FREE stickers, which she had fun sticking to everything she could.

On the first and main episode Dora, Boots and Mariposa (Butterfly in Spanish)
make their way to the Butterfly Ball. A huge party in which your little ones
have to guide them through a series of obstacles in order for them to get to the
ball on time to get their magical wings! This episode is so engaging. I’m not a parent that just sits their child in front of the t.v. We love the educational factor 🙂

And then comes Vamos a Pintar! (Lets Paint!) and then my favorite, Feliz Dia de
los Padres! (Happy Fathers Day!) in which Dora gives her Papi a present but it
gets blown away by the wind! It was exciting to assist Dora to catch Little Kite
before it flew out to the ocean! Oh no!

Bring the adventurous world of Dora to your living room and let your little ones
have a blast@! WE DID IT, WE DID IT, HOORAY! Dora is a timeless classic and can’t wait to see what else this series has to offer!
