When I was in Los Angeles last week I learned that Disney has now partnered with several other platforms as well including Amazon and Microsoft to expand Disney Movies Anywhere to many more devices you may own.
So what is Disney Movies Anywhere?
Disney Movies Anywhere is an app and website where you can browse, buy and watch your collection of eligible Disney, Disney•Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars titles across your favorite devices. Enjoy exclusive content, special bonus features, and earn points toward great rewards with your digital purchases through Disney Movies Anywhere. Easily manage, stream, and download your digital movie collection anywhere you go.

90% of all Disney movies are now on Disney Movies Anywhere. What’s cool is that you can link your accounts so once you add a movie to one of your accounts you will be able to watch that movie on any of your other accounts and on all of your devices. You can even purchase a movie electronically on one device, such as your phone, and then have it flow through to your other devices.
With Disney Movies Anywhere you can set parental controls differently on each device. This is great especially if you have young children so you can set the parental controls to filter out more for them on the device they may use while making the controls less on the devices your teen uses.
Instead of spending money to rent a movie for a little more you can just purchase it on Disney Movies Anywhere. With Disney Movies Anywhere you can play a movie from the beginning, start from where you left off, watch a preview, and even skip to the specific scene you’re looking for. So much flexibility. Make sure to check all your old Disney DVD and Bluray packages because you might have digital codes in there to use on Disney Movies Anywhere. If you already claimed your digital download codes they should be on your account.
One of my favorite features of Disney Movies Anywhere is that BONUS CONTENT gets updated without having to buy another disc. Over the years bonus content is added and if you own that title on Disney Movies Anywhere you will be able to download the bonus content for free. Score! Right now Aladdin is available digitally and it has an exclusive deleted song that is only available on Disney Movies Anywhere.
