My girls and I were invited to host a mother-daughter “High Tea” Party sponsored by Mommy Parties and Cadbury Ice Cream. We love having tea parties and we love ice cream so of course were jumped at the chance to have a party with our friends.
We were sent everything we needed to host the tea party- a ceramic tea set, fancy hats and facinators just like the British royals wear, and of course yummy ice cream.
Blue Bunny ice cream has teamed up with Cadbury chocolate to create 4 delicious snack size premium ice cream bars. Cadbury Royal Dark is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury Royal dark chocolaty coating, Cadbury English Toffee is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with toffee pieces, Cadbury Caramell0 is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating, and Cadbury Vanilla Chocolate is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating.
Our guests arrived and put on their hats and facinators. The original plan was to serve finger sandwiches for our tea party but I was sick so my friend offered to bring over McDonald’s for our girls instead. My older daughter poured ice tea to all of our guests and my younger daughter passed out the cups. The girls all felt so grown up with their hats and fancy tea cups. After they dined and drank their tea, the girls had fun putting make up on each other and on the mommies. It’s always a fun time getting fancy with make up and nail polish.
Once we were all dolled up, everyone chose an ice cream bar. The Cadbury English Toffee was favored by most of us but the Cadbury Caramello was a close second. All 4 flavors are rich and delicious. I really love that they are snack size so my family and I can have a treat that isn’t too big or too loaded with fat and calories. It is just the right size for an afternoon treat. We will be buying these yummy treats again.
