Have you ever noticed that ‘slimmers’ are constantly slimming? They hardly ever reach a goal and then maintain it. They usually yo-yo backwards and forwards in a constant state of slimming limbo. This is because they make the mistake of counting calories, eating foods that don’t fill them up, and failing to concentrate on their mindset first. Change Your Attitude and Mindset

The problem is that a lot of people don’t change their mindset. They hate exercise, they hate healthy food, they don’t like their bodies, but they want to be ‘thin’. In order to get the best results you need to enjoy exercise, food, and love your body. That’s the only way you’ll make a lifestyle change of this and stop yourself from going back to your old ways!

Cut the Calorie Counting

Calorie counting and even point counting is a silly thing to do. Although science has proven that calories in vs. calories out is the way to lose weight, it’s also a lot to do with the macronutrients you’re consuming too. Protein, carbs, and fats need to be eaten in the right proportions to get the best results. Use a macro calculator and a tracking app to get started. This is the only way you’ll actually change the shape of your body!

Focus on the Foods You’re Eating

Focus on the foods you’re eating to hit your goals. For instance, if you need more protein, go for a healthy source like egg whites. For carbs, go for sweet potato. Fats, peanut butter or some nuts. These foods will keep you fuller for longer and make you look so much better!

Allow Occasional Treats

Occasional treats are fine. They help us to keep focused and on track. If we deprive ourselves, we’ll only end up bingeing later on. Keep your treats in moderation and you’ll stay on track that way. Some people have a full on treat day, but this can undo all of the progress from one week if you’re not careful.

Incorporate Exercise

Exercise is important. It helps to keep us healthy, happy, and looking great. Even if you just go for a walk a couple of times a week, do that! You’ll get much better results and feel great too!

See a Professional
