When my girls were babies one of the local theaters had a special program for moms with babies so they could see new movies while being able to bring their babies with them. The program was cancelled but I am so excited to share with you that there is a new similar program at Silverspot Cinema in Coconut Creek at 4441 Lyons Road. They launched “Mommy’s Morning Movies,” a special program geared to moms with babies and tots, with meet ups for the first show of the day each Thursday starting Thursday, May 26.
Movie tickets are $7 per person. Children ages one and under are free.
Moms will be able to select a film for the group the Monday prior to that week’s meet-up.
“This fun program will provide moms with the opportunity to watch a film amongst other moms and young children,” said Randi Emerman, vice president of marketing for Silverspot. “Moms can enjoy a first run film they’ve been wanting to see or a fun film for the little ones.”
