My girls posing by their favorite circus snacks, cotton candy and popcorn!

My mother came with us so it was nice to be able to take a rare family picture that I was actually in front of the camera for!

The crowd meeting the circus entertainers, getting autographs, and trying on some circus clothes!

There were so many exciting parts of the circus that left me holding my breath in anticipation.  In this first picture these amazingly flexible women were suspended HIGH up in the air in huge, clear spheres as they twisted and twirled inside.  They were so beautiful as they gracefully changed poses.

While all this was going on above, in came 2 women riding elephants.  They made their way under special harnesses and hooked themselves to the harnesses by their hair.  YES, their hair!

I wonder what shampoo they use that strengthens their hair enough so they can be suspended by it?!?!

There were many amazing acts but I have to say that for me, the animals stole the show.

How do they get them to do that?!?!

Such beautiful, graceful creatures!

The lion looked so cuddly, I just wanted to hug it!

His trainer even kissed him on the lips!

But there is no doubt that the lion is the king of the jungle!

Now here are some animals that I’d feel safe kissing.

My favorite act of all was the performing cats!!!  I have never seen cats perform before.  Lions, tigers, and even dogs, yes.
But never cats!
Until now:

How adorable is this?!?!?

Yes, that’s a cat jumping through a hoop!

I wonder if I can get my cats to do these tricks!

I so love the RIngling Bros. Circus! I went years and years ago. I loved it then and hopefully one day it will be a memory that I can share with my children. They have added so many things to the show that I didn’t get the pleasure of seeing! Thank you for the review and bringing back so long time memories!!
