As you have probably already read if you follow my blog, I have fibromyalgia.  This causes me to, among other things, have aches and pains all over my body.  I take several medications to help but they don’t always offer the relief I would like.  Several years ago I fell in a store and had to go for physical therapy.  My favorite part of therapy was when they hooked me up to the Electro-therapy machine.  I loved the way it tingled on my sore spots and how much better I felt after a treatment.  If only I could have that relief at home without having to go to a therapist everyday.  I recently stumbled upon a  Drug-FREE Pain Relief Home Electro-Therapy device called the REBOUND™ TENS device and I knew I had to try it for myself.

The REBOUND™ TENS device comes with:
REBOUND™ unit
2 Conductive pads
1 Connecting cable
2 AAA batteries
1 Lanyard (strap)
1 Instruction Manual

The REBOUND™ TENS device is a safe, effective, drug-free way way to help with pain.  It is affordable and you don’t need a prescription for it.  It comes with batteries so it is ready to go right out of the box and is so easy to use.  Batteries last for up to 150 hours of continued use.  Simply attach the cable to the unit on one end and the 2 conductive pads on the other end.  Decide where you want to place the conductive pads on your body (IMPORTANT- read the directions on where you can’t place the pads and how to place them for best results).  Place the pads on clean, dry skin and turn on the REBOUND™ unit.  Press the up button to increase the power level to a comfortable level for you.   There are 14 power levels to choose from and they can easily be adjusted with the push of a button.  The seven-bar graphic on the LCD screen indicates the Output Power of the electrical stimulation in 14 steps.  Each bar represents two power steps. The first step makes the bar blink and the second step turns on the bar without blinking.  Once you find the setting that feels the best for you, use the lock button feature to lock in your setting so you won’t accidentally turn up the power of the REBOUND™ during use.

The REBOUND™ is a TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) pain relief device; transcutaneous means “through the skin”. TENS stimulation is used to relieve pain symptoms due to chronic pain and/or postsurgical and post-traumatic pain.  I use my REBOUND™ all over my body.  When my lower back is aching it feels great to wear my REBOUND™ to get rid of my pain and I love that it is so small that I can wear it out of my house, too.  For my back I find that I need a pretty high power level but with my wrist or knee, I only need a low power setting.  The REBOUND™ creates a tingling sensation similar to pins and needles.  It will not cure any pain conditions but the TENS outputs will help you manage your pain without the use of drugs.  It can be used as often as I need for pain relief.  Some days I wear it for long periods of time and other days 15 minutes is enough to lessen my pain.  I am so grateful that I found something to help with my pain.  No, I’m not 100% pain free, but it is helping improve my daily aches and pains.ankle

If you suffer from chronic pain try a REBOUND™ TENS device for yourself.  Let me know what you think.

  4. This sounds absolutely amazing. I learned that the way it manages pain is through TENS, a “tingling sensation” that is omits to help sooth pain. I have fibro and diabetic neauropathy and this would be amazing to have! I hate using drugs to help pain so this sounds like a great alternative.

  5. I’m entering in hopes of winning one for my husband who has chronic back pain. Thank you for the chance!

  6. Stephanie says:

Would love to see how a non-drug therapy works. An infant and fibro are not a great mix!

  10. That these handy products can help you with pain without meds. I have fibro and been wanting to try one of these! pretty awesome!

  11. I like the carabiner clip This would be very convenient. My insurance does not cover the tens unit and I borrowed a friends unit (she needed it back). It does help with the pain – almost like it gives my back something else to think about. In the above pictures, I only see two patches, does it actually have a 4 patch? The one I used had 4 and they went crosswise (criss-cross) on my back.
