I’m not sure about you but the first thing I used to think about when someone said Gorton’s Seafood was my beloved fish sticks. Ever since I was a child I loved fish sticks. They are such a comfort food. I was so excited when I was selected by Gorton’s to write a review about their products and I knew I’d have a hard time deciding what to get.
My daughter and I headed to our local Walmart and found so many yummy looking choices. Gorton’s gave me 2 coupons for free products but we couldn’t decide on 2 so we ended up buying 4 different Gorton’s products- Garlic Grilled Shrimp (I plan on using these to make shrimp tacos later in the week), Crunchy Fish Fillets (these will be a great go to meal for several nights because it is a value size bag), Popcorn Shrimp (my daughter’s choice), and something I didn’t even know Gorton’s made- Classic Lemon Skillet Crisp Tilapia! 
The Skillet Crisp Tilapia was AMAZING!!! The directions said to cook on the stovetop or in the oven so I opted to cook it in the oven. It was so easy.
I put them on a baking sheet for 12 minutes, turn them over, and cooked them for another 12 minutes. They came out so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They do not have the same crunch as with a fish stick. The Skillet Crisp Tilapia has a more delicate crunch as well as a light lemon flavor, too.
My husband took out the tarter sauce to have with his tilapia and neither of use ended up even using any because the tilapia was that good. We wanted to save some to have left overs for another day but it was so good that we ate it all. My children even loved it. Yes, my children ate and LOVED tilapia! I will definitely be making this again! I can’t wait to make the other Gorton’s goodies we bought!
