My family and I have been Bejeweled fans on our cell phones so we were especially excited when we heard that Hasbro Games was turning PopCap’s addictive digital game to life in a face-to-face game! One of my New Year’s resolutions this year was to spend more family time playing games and enjoying each other and Hasbro’s Family Game Night Games fit right in with this. My family and I love playing games together and Bejeweled has become a new family favorite.
The box says for ages 8 and up by my 7 year old had no problem playing it with us. The game is similar to the digital version in that the object is to make rows of 3 or more of the same colored jewels. My daughters especially like it because it is a quick game so we’re able to play it multiple times in one sitting. They also love it because it features 91 colored gems including some that are special gems with glitter in them. What little girls (and big girls) don’t like playing with gems?
