Looking for a crunchy snack full of protein?  Check out ips, The Original Egg White Chips™(rhymes with chips).  ips stands for Intelligent Protein Snacks.  Each serving contains 7 grams of protein- that’s the equivalent of 2 egg whites.  They are made from egg whites and corn that are pressure puffed, not fried.  I love that ips are all natural and come in 4 flavors- barbecue, aged white cheddar, sea salt & black pepper, and cinnamon sugar.  I usually crave salty, crunchy snacks and my hubby likes sweet snacks so there are ips flavors for each of us to love.  My favorite is barbecue.  It is sweet with just the right amount of tangy goodness.  The ages white cheddar is a great cure for when I am craving puffed cheese curls, etc. and they are so much lighter with less fat and calories.  Then I want a snack with a little kick, I have the sea salt and black pepper ips.  My husband’s favorite flavor is cinnamon sugar.  I love them, too, but my favorite way to eat the cinnamon sugar ips is crushed up on top of ice cream.  YUM!!!

Using their patent-pending Pressure-Puff process, they’ve created a chip that is so incredibly light, crispy, and delicious, you won’t believe you’re getting healthy egg white protein in every bite.  They have half the fat of leading fried potato chips and fewer carbs than leading baked potato chips.  I love that I am getting extra protein into my girls and they just think I am giving them a delicious snack in their lunches.

Want to get your own ips?  If you live in the Southern California area check out the store finder on their website to find a store near you.   Not in So Cal?  They also sell online through their website and Amazon.

“The idea for ips first hatched when I was making breakfast for my kids. I’m always looking for healthier foods to feed them and they loved the crispy edges of the eggs I cooked. So I decided to turn that crunchy egg white goodness into a treat the world could enjoy.”
